impacts or a fall even from a low height can
damage the product.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about
the operation, safety or connection of the
appliance.
•
Maintenance, modifications and repairs
must only be completed by a technician or
an authorised repair centre.

connect the product to the mains socket
when it is switched off.
• Do not pull the mains plug from the mains
socket by pulling on the cable.
• Do not touch the mains cable or the
workstation if there are any signs of

mains cable or power adapter may also
cause a fatal electric shock!
• Caution! If liquid does enter the workstation,
switch off the mains voltage to the socket
containing the mains plug (switch off at the
corresponding circuit breaker or remove
the safety fuse and then switch off at the
corresponding RCD protective switch). You
can then unplug the power adapter from
the mains socket.
• Discontinue use immediately and take

• Do not cover or fasten any items to the
soldering iron. Otherwise there is a risk
of fire.
• Touching or soldering capacitors (or
similar components) or leads/cables that
are connected to capacitors may cause a
fatal electric shock! Capacitors may stay
charged for several hours after you switch
off the power supply!
•
Risk of fire or explosion! Do not use around
or near explosive or flammable materials.
• Turn the power off and place the soldering
iron on the stand while taking breaks or not
using.
