b)
Rechargeable battery
• The in-built battery cannot be removed and can only be charged in the device.
Never attempt to remove the battery and charge it with an external charger.
• The rechargeable battery may only be charged via the USB connection of a USB
power supply with a suitable load capacity (see "Technical Data” section). Using
another power supply with a different charging current may damage the device
and cause the built-in battery to overheat, catch fire or explode.
c) Operation
• Warning, LED light
- Do not look directly into the LED light!
- Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Make sure the specifications of any devices which are charged using the charging
function conform to the product specifications listed in the “Technical data“ section.
Charging the battery
The work lamp battery must be charged via a USB power supply that provides an
output voltage of 5 V DC and has a current rating of at least 1 A. If the USB power
supply does not meet these requirements, the power supply or the work lamp may
be damaged.
USB ports on computers are often not powerful enough to charge this device.
Overloading may damage the USB interface or the computer.
Fully charge the battery before using the device for the first time. The charging time
is approx. 5-7 hours.
Charge the battery on a regular basis, even when you are not using the device (at
least once every two months). Failure to charge the battery regularly may cause the
battery to overdischarge, which can cause permanent damage.
• Open the red cover on the back of the device and connect the enclosed USB-C cable to the
USB-C port (small connection socket).
• Connect the other side of the USB-C cable to the USB port on your USB power supply.
• If necessary, turn on the USB power supply.
• The work lamp's built-in rechargeable battery will start to charge.
• During the charging process, the capacity indicator below the function key will turn on or
flash.
• The more bars displayed, the more the battery is charged. When the charging process is
complete, all the segments on the battery charge indicator will light up.
• If the work lamp no longer switches on or the last segment on the capacity indicator is
flashing, this indicates that the battery is discharged and must be recharged as described.
Depending on the selected light function or brightness, a full charge will power the
lamp for approximately 2.5-8 hours (refer to the "Technical Data” section).
When charging is complete, close the red cover on the back of the device to ensure
that the device is protected against penetrating objects and water spray.
Operation
a) Mounting
• The back of the housing features a fold-out hook, with which the work lamp can be suspended.
• Alternatively, you can fold out the stand on the bottom of the housing.
• The stand features two built-in magnets, which allow you to attach the lamp to magnetic
surfaces.
