• Handle the product with care. The product can be damaged if crushed, struck or dropped, even
from a low height.
• Never touch the wall plug transformer with wet or damp hands. There is risk of fatal electric
shock.
• Do not pull the wall plug transformer from the socket by pulling on the cable. Always hold the
power adaptor by the casing.

SETTING UP THE DEVICE
Never position the product in the vicinity of combustible or easily flammable
materials, (e.g. curtains, decorative materials etc.)! This could result in a fire,
when using the lamp while soldering.
The entire lamp has to be set up out of the reach of children. Children could
knock over the lamp and suffer injuries as a result.
Never cover the lamp when it is switched on.
Do not place the lamp on an unstable surface. People may be hurt if the prod-
uct falls.
• Take the lamp out of the packaging and place it on a level, even surface.
• Adjust the lamp holder and the light-arm as desired.

INTENDED USE
The magnifying lamp with integrated 3rd hand is intended for illuminating work areas and it is
equipped with a magnifying glass.
Furthermore, the device has a soldering iron stand, a wire holder for soldering, a three-part wire
holder, as well as a so-called 3rd hand to help with soldering.
The product is intended to provide a magnified view of objects. It must to be installed securely on
a suitable surface such as a table or a window sill.
It is powered either by four Mignon batteries (type AA, not supplied) or via the wall plug trans-
former, which is enclosed with the package. The supply voltage ranges from 100 - 240 V/AC from
the mains power.
The product may only be used indoors; never outdoors. Do not expose to moisture, under any
circumstances.
No part of the product should be modified or reassembled.
Please read the operating instructions carefully and keep them. If you pass the product on to a
third party, please hand over these operating instructions as well.
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves the
risk of short circuits, fire, electric shock, etc. The safety instructions and all other information
must be followed at all times!

these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any consequen-
tial damage!
Nor do we assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by
improper use or non-compliance with the safety instructions! The warranty
will be void in such cases.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modification of the unit is not permitted because of safe-
ty and approval reasons (CE).
• The product is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
• Do not look directly into the light source, when the lamp is in operation.
• Never look into light sources, such as LED lamps or lasers, through the magnifying glass. This
may result in eye injuries, due to the optical interaction.
• Always cover the magnifying glass with the plastic cover when it’s not in use, otherwise there
is a risk of fire due to the burning glass effect in direct sunshine.
• Never leave the lamp without supervision when it is in use.
• Check the lamp for damage from time to time. Don’t touch the device if the lamp or the mains
adaptor show any signs of damage. First, switch off the appropriate mains socket (e.g. via the
respective circuit-breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the socket. Do not use
the product afterwards, instead take it to a specialist workshop.
• Do not subject the lamp to strong mechanical stress. Do not expose the device to high tem-
peratures, strong vibrations, high humidity, dripping water or water spray.
• Never pour out any liquids above the lamp. You run the risk of causing a fire or a fatal electric
shock. However, if liquid does get into the device, immediately remove the mains plug from the
mains socket and consult an expert.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. They could become a dangerous
playthings for children.
