WARNING
Read this manual carefully before using the
machine, for your own safety.
The following symbols are used throughout
this manual :
Always wear safety glasses.
Always wear a safety masque
against dust.
Always wear ear protection when
the sound level noise exceed 85
dB(A).
Always wear protection gloves.
In accordance with the European
standards and directives.
Classe II – The machine is double
insulated, an earthed wire is not
necessary.

or damage of the tool or other
objects.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using the machine, always observe the
enclosed safety instructions as well as the
additional safety instructions. The following
symbols are used throughout this manual:
Keep the work area clean. Cluttered
areas and benches invite injuries.
Keep children away.
Do not let children play with the machine.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewelry. They can be caught in
moving parts. Wear protective hair
covering to contain long hair.
Use safety glasses, a dust mask and
protection gloves. Also use ear protection
if the noise level exceeds 85 dB(A).
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing
and balance at all times.
Check for damaged parts. Never use a
damaged machine. Damaged parts must
be properly repaired or replaced by an
authorized service center.
Avoid unintentional starting. Always
disconnect tools when they are not in
use. Also before servicing, changing
accessories, …
Always use a suitable cable according to
the specifications of this machine.
Always keep the area of the power supply
socket free when operating the machine.
You must always be able to disconnect
the machine immediately when
necessary.
Never unplug the machine by pulling the
cable.
Never unplug the supply cord when the
machine is operating.
Do not force the machine. It will do a
better job and operate more safely at the
rate for which it was intended.
Maintain tools with care. Keep tools clean
for better and safer performance.
Consider work area environment. Do not
use electric tools in damp or wet
locations. Keep the work area well lit. Do
not use electric tools near flammable
liquids or gases.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The shredder must be assembled
correctly before use.
This appliance must be earthed.
Use only three core extension cables with
the earth wire connected.
Only use extension cables that are
approved for outdoor use and check that
they are in good condition before use it.
Protect the cables from damage by heavy
mechanical use, sharp edges, contact
with moving parts and corrosive liquids
etc.
Do not use an extension cable that shows
signs of damage. Fit a complete new
cable do not undertake any permanent or
temporary rapiers. Have the cable
replaced by a qualified technician.
Before inserting the plug in the main
socket make sure that the socket ratings
are correct and correspond to these
indicated on the rating label on the
shredder.
