Deny means only the hosts with the MAC address in the list can‟t access the
Internet.
ARP Cache:
MB6000 collects the MAC address information of all the hosts that
communicated with MB6000 and displays the information here. You can easily
add the MAC addresses you select to the MAC Filter List by click the
Add
button.
You can refresh the ARP cache by click the
Refresh
button.
Access Control List:
This is the MAC address list of all the selected hosts. You
can add items with two methods: Select from the ARP Cache or type the MAC
address manually in the MAC address edit box on the lower right hand side.
Note:
Both MAC Filter and Wireless LAN MAC Access Control List can realize the
access control based on MAC addresses, but they are different
:
MAC filter controls
the access to the Internet however Wireless LAN Access Control List controls the
access to the MB6000 via Wireless LAN.
