WARNINGS
do not use pneumatic tools in the environment of potential explosion hazards, if the tools are not adapted to such appli-
1.
cations.
An unexpected sander movement as a result of reaction force interaction or damage of the used working tool can cause
2.
personal injuries.
Before the sanding disc is replaced, the pneumatic sander must be disconnected from the compressed air installation.
3.
Avoid contact with rotating elements of the sander.
4.
An incorrect body position may make it impossible to react to normal or unexpected tool movements.
5.
caution must be exercised not to get hurt as a result of impact by the flexible compressed air hose.
6.
The user must wear tight cloths and have short hair. Loose clothing and long hair can be caught by moving sander ele-
7.
ments.
during work, the user must wear safety goggles, noise reducing earmuffs and protective half mask.
8.
The compressed air jet may cause personal injuries. Never point the compressed air jet at bystanders.
9.
The flexible compressed air hoses must be inspected for cracks or bulges at a regular basis. make sure it is not twisted.
10.
do not run long flexible compressed air hoses in places, where they can be damaged or cause accidents.
11.
The noise level may exceed the permissible limit of 85 dB(A). Use noise reducing earmuffs in such a case.
12.
Avoid inhaling airborne dust and material particles, when using the pneumatic sander.
13.
The working of some materials may cause the emission of dust or vapours that can present potential explosion hazards.
14.
Remember that rotating elements of the sander are still in motion for some time, after the sander is switched off.
15.
Prolonged work and possible abnormal situations may cause hand injuries. If the skin on finger tips and other parts of the
16.
hand becomes white, immediately stop working and consult your doctor
OPERATION, MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
Before any maintenance activities are commenced, the sander must be disconnected from the compressed ait installa-
1.
tion.
The sander must be lubricated using an air lubricator installed in the compressed air installation and adjusted to supply
2.
two oil drops per minute. Oils of the viscosity 10# must be used.
If an air lubricator is not used in the installation, the sander must be lubricated with oil fed to the air inlet opening.
3.
The net inlet air filter must be cleaned at least once a week.
4.
do not make any changes to the sander construction or replace its parts by yourself.
5.
If parts for replacement are not original, the manufacturer does not bear any responsibility for its products.
6.
The rotational speed of the sander must be checked.
7.
when not in use, the sander must be carefully stored in a dry place.
8.
make sure the compressed air pressure does not exceed the permissible values.
9.
The flexible hose supplying the compressed air should be located away from any heat sources and sharp edges. Before the
10.
work is commenced, always check the technical condition of the hose and connectors in the installation.
metal products should not be disposed of with household wastes, but should be utilised in proper recycling cen-
tres. Obtain information on waste recycling from your seller or local authorities. Used equipment contains sub-
stances active in the natural environment. Unrecycled equipment constitutes a potential risk for the environment
and human health.
