To copy files between a USB storage and the internal hard disk
drive
You can copy files between a USB storage and the internal hard
disk drive of the digital receiver via USB connection.
To copy files, perform the following steps:
1. Make a connection between a USB storage and the digital
receiver.
2. Press the
button and then the
or
button to select
the file list.
• To copy a file to the internal hard disk drive, select
the
Recorded programme
list.
• To copy a file to the USB storage, select the
USB
storage
list.
3. Put the highlight bar on a desired file and press the
button.; then the list of folders gets displayed.
4. To copy a file to the USB storage, select the
USB Storage
(External)
folder. To copy a file to the internal hard disk
drive, select the
Recorded Services (Internal)
folder.
5. Press the
OK
button; then the selected file will be copied
into the specified folder.
NOTE
Your USB storage must be formatted in the FAT file system.
Otherwise, the digital receiver cannot recognize your USB stor-
age. In addition, the digital receiver can only recognize files
and directories which are named with only alphabetic, numeric
and underscore letters. If there is a file or forlder named with
other letters, the digital receiver cannot recognize not only it
but also its subsequent files and folders.
