2) Select a proper cutting nozzle according to plate thickness and material. Make the
cutting nozzle vertical with the steel plate.
3) Reset the cutting speed and preheating time again in the machine according to
different plate thicknesses and materials. Also, set up reasonable pressures for
preheating oxygen and cutting oxygen.
4) Nobody is allowed to get contact with the flame area after ignition. The operators
shall adopt a cutting method with small splash to protect the cutting nozzle.
5) Check the heating flame and cutting oxygen jet flow. When it is found that the
cutting nozzle stains or damages the flame, it shall be timely replaced and cleared.
Special tools attached in the machine shall be used to clear the cutting nozzle.
6) If backfire occurs during cutting, the power supply shall be timely cut off. Shut
down the machine and close the gas valve. If the backfire valve block is burnt, it
shall not be used any more. Wait the manufacturer or professionals to replace the
valve block.
7) When the operator operates the machine, the operation condition of the device
shall be noticed constantly. If an abnormal condition is found, and gas smell or
other peculiar smells are found, the emergency stop switch shall be pressed down
to timely exit from the workstation. It is strictly forbidden to let the machine one
and separate from the site.
8) The operators shall make sure the cutting torch is lifted to the original position
after cutting of one workpiece and then the cutting can be carried out again after
it runs to the next station.
9) The operators shall select cutting speed according to the stipulations of the given
cutting elements. It is not allowed to increase the device load purely for
improvement of operation efficiency. It is required to properly handle the
relationship between the service life and efficiency of device and environmental
protection.
10) During hoisting, the travelling bridge shall not pass through above the device just
in case.
