Lifting Chain
Step 6:
Verify that chain is connected and
secure. The Manufacturer has pre-adjusted
the chain and should not be removed. (Fig 8)
STEP 7:
Install top mounting plates on each
column.
Safety Latches
Step 8:
Pull safety latch cable on front of
lifting carriage. This will allow you to release
safety latches. There is one safety latch on
each lifting carriage. Once carriages raise
the safety release latch will flip over. This
will engage the safety lock when lowered. To
lower lift raise carriage to a point where
safety lock can be released. After the safety
release cable has been pulled the safety
release latch will flip over. This will allow
safety lock to glide down post with-out
engaging. (Fig 9)
Important
:
Always verify that Both Safety Locks are release before lowering vehicle.
