WARNING
When removing or installing the battery:
•
Do not allow the battery terminals or battery cables to touch any
metal parts of the machine.
•
Do not allow metal tools to short between the battery terminals or
battery cables and metal parts of the machine.
•
Do not attach anything to the battery terminal other than the
battery cable or wire harness connector that came with the
product.
•
Always keep the battery retainers and covers in place to protect
and secure the battery.
Failure to follow these recommendations may result in personal
injury and property damage.
CAUTION
To prevent accidentally shorting a disconnected battery cable across
other components or tools, insulate the battery cable terminal with
a 76 mm (3 inch) length of 1/2 inch internal diameter rubber hose
immediately after disconnecting the cables. Failure to do so may
result in personal injury and property damage; refer to

CAUTION
Do not open the lithium-Ion battery. There are no serviceable
parts on or in the lithium-ion battery case. If you open the battery
case, you will void the warranty. The battery case is protected by
tamper-alerting devices. Opening the battery case may result in
