Procedure
1. Remove the hex-head bolt that holds the cover in
place (Figure 1).

2. Remove and discard the cover.
3. Install the electric starter securely as shown (Figure 2)
with 2 torx head bolts from the loose parts bag.

7 mm hex-head bolt
Note:
Use a torx 40 wrench or a 13 mm socket
wrench to install the torx head bolts.
4. Install the starter cover by inserting the tab in the slot
and securing it at the bottom with a 7 mm hex head
bolt from the loose parts bag (Figure 2 and Figure 3).
