Servicing the Fuel System
Draining the Fuel Tank
Service Interval:
Every 800 hours—Drain and clean
the fuel tank.
Drain and clean the tank also if the fuel system
becomes contaminated or if you are storing the
machine for an extended period of time. Use clean
fuel to flush out the tank.
Servicing the Water
Separator
Service Interval:
Before each use or daily—Drain the
water separator.
Every 400 hours—Replace the fuel/water
separator element.
Draining the Water Separator
1.
Place a drain pan under the fuel filter.
2.
Loosen the drain valve on the bottom of the filter
