Unfolding the Handle

Raise the handle to the operating position.

Handle-locking ring

Slide the handle-locking ring down each side of the
upper handle over the lower handle, locking the handle
sections together.
Checking the Engine Oil Level
Before operating, check the engine oil level to ensure that
it has enough oil. The machine comes from the factory
with oil in the engine crankcase; however, you may need to
add oil. Refer to Changing the Engine Oil (page 18), for oil
specifications and instructions.
