1.
Set the throttle to the Slow position (Figure 11).

Slowly pull the recoil-start handle until you encounter a
slight resistance (Figure 12).

Let the rope run back in recoil starter.
4.
Hold the recoil-start handle with both hands.
5.
Pull the starting rope evenly and with increasing speed
until the engine starts.
Note:
Do not sharply pull the recoil-start handle.
6.
Move the throttle lever to the fast position (Figure 11).
Note:
The compactor will begin vibrating when the
throttle is set to fast throttle.
Model 68075:
1.
Set the throttle to the slow position (Figure 11).
2.
Insert the key into the starter switch and rotate it
clockwise to start the engine (Figure 13).
Note:
Release the key once the engine begins to run.
