10. Start the engine and check for component interference as the steering wheel
is turned from lock to lock.
11. Check the rear wheel toe-in and adjust if necessary; refer to the
Traction
Unit Operator’s Manual
.
12. Check the steering stop bolt adjustment on both sides of the axle. At full right
and left turns, a gap of 2.2 mm (0.088 inch) should exist between the bevel
gear case casting and the stop bolt on the axle case.
