Testing the Electrical Components
For accurate resistance and/or continuity checks, electrically disconnect the
component being tested from the circuit (e.g., unplug the key switch connector
before doing a continuity check of the switch).
Note:
Electrical troubleshooting of any 12 Volt power connection can be
performed through voltage drop tests without disconnecting the component.

Refer to the Kubota Workshop Manual: 05 Series Engine (Groundsmaster
3280-D) or Briggs and Stratton/Daihatsu Engine Repair Manual (Groundsmaster
3320) for additional electrical component repair information.
IMPORTANT
When testing the electrical components for continuity with a
multimeter (ohms setting), ensure that you disconnect the power to
the circuit.
