Changing the Back Position
The back of the seat can be adjusted to provide
a comfortable ride. Position the back of the seat
where it is most comfortable.
To adjust it, turn the knob, under the right-side
arm rest, in either direction to provide the best
comfort (Figure 32).
Changing the Lumbar Support
The back of the seat can be adjusted to provide a
customized lumbar support for your lower back.
To adjust it, turn the knob, under the left-side
arm rest, in either direction to provide the best
comfort (Figure 32).
Unlatching the Seat
To access the hydraulic and other systems under
the seat, you need to unlatch the seat and swing
it forward.
1. Use the seat position adjustment lever to slide
the seat all the way forward.
2. Push one of the seat latches, located behind
and to the sides of the seat, rearward to unlatch
the seat and pull forward on the top of the seat
(Figure 34).

Pushing the Machine by
Hand
If the machine breaks, runs out of fuel, etc. you
may need to push it. To do so, you first need to
open the hydraulic by-pass valves.
Important:
Always push the machine
by hand. Never tow the machine because
hydraulic damage may occur.
Pushing the Machine
1. Disengage the power take off (PTO) and turn
the ignition key to off. Move the levers to the
neutral locked position and apply the parking
brake. Remove the key.
2. Lift the seat.
3. Rotate each by-pass valve counterclockwise
1 turn (Figure 35).
This allows hydraulic fluid to by-pass the pump
enabling the wheels to turn .
Important:
Do not rotate the by-pass
valves more than 1 turn. This prevents
valves from coming out of the body and
causing fluid to run out.
