Rear Engine Guard Replacement
Rear Engine Guard Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and set the parking brake. Stop the
engine, wait for all moving parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative battery cable first, then
the positive cable.
3. Remove 10 (T-40) self-tapping screws securing the rear engine guard and
muffler shield to the chassis. Remove the muffler shield and rear engine
guard.

4. Remove the rear engine guard.
Rear Engine Guard Installation
1. Install the rear engine guard.
2. Install the muffler shield and rear engine guard. Install 10 (T-40) self-tapping
screws securing the rear engine guard and muffler shield to the chassis.
Torque screws to 17–22.5 N • m (150–200 in-lb).
