Caster Assembly and Bearing Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface and disengage the PTO. Stop the engine,
wait for all moving parts to stop, and remove key. Engage the parking brake.
2. Disconnect the battery by removing the negative cable first, then the positive
cable from the battery.
3. Raise and support the unit so that the front wheels are off the ground, block
rear wheels.
4. Using a hammer and flat head screw driver, remove the grease cap.

5. Support the underside of the caster fork, and remove the (0.313-18NC x
0.750 inch) screw and washer securing the caster fork to the frame.

6. Remove the caster fork from the main frame. Inspect the caster fork shaft
for wear or damage.
7. Using a punch and hammer, remove the upper and lower bearings from
the axle.
