Stopping
1. Move the throttle lever to “SLOW” (Fig. 5).
2. Turn the ignition key to “OFF” and remove (Fig. 6).
Note: If the engine has been working hard or is hot, let it
idle for a minute before turning the ignition key “OFF.”
This helps cool the engine before it is stopped. In an
emergency, the engine may be stopped by turning the
ignition key to “OFF.”
3. Pull wire off spark plug(s) to prevent possibility of
someone accidentally starting the machine before
transporting or storing machine.
4. Close fuel shut off valve, on front panel before
transporting or storing machine.
Important
Make sure fuel shut off valve is closed
before transporting or storing machine, as fuel leakage
may occur. Set parking brake before transporting. Make
sure to remove key as fuel pump may run and cause
battery to lose charge.
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
move or attempt to operate the tractor while it is
unattended.
Always remove the ignition key and set the
parking brake when leaving the machine
unattended, even if just for a few minutes.
Caution
Operating the Power Take Off

1. While seated in the seat, release pressure on the
traction control levers and place in neutral.
2. Place throttle to the fast position.
3. Pull out on the power take off (PTO) switch to engage
