Owner's Manual

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Torrot  Electric  Europa  S.L.  guarantees  the  owner 
that only the original parts of each new Torrot Electric 
vehicle, and their installation, will be free from defects 
for the following periods of time:

Two (2) year warranty on:

Chassis/frame  and  swingarm  in  the  electric  bicycle,
in  the  KIDS  motorcycles  and  in  the  e-scooter  MUVI.
Surface  finish  and  any  original  Torrot  Electric
component/piece on any Torrot Electric vehicle (KIDS,
CITYSURFER  and  MUVI).  Two  year  warranty  or 
40.000km  within  that  period,  for  MUVI’s  batteries, 
subjected  to  the  conditions  of  use  and  maintenance 
provided in this manual are respected.

Two  year  warranty  for  CITYSURFER  batteries,  
subjected  to  the  conditions  of  use  and  maintenance 
provided in this manual are respected.

Two year warranty for KIDS batteries, subjected to the 
conditions  of  use  and  maintenance  provided  in  this 
manual are respected.

This  warranty  is  only  applicable  to  Torrot  Electric 
electric vehicles and bicycles purchased new from an 
authorised Torrot Electric Europa S.L. dealer or directly 
from the manufacturer via its website and which have 
been assembled by the said dealer or the manufacturer 
at the time of purchase. This warranty does not cover 
unauthorised  parts  or  their  installation  by  companies 
not expressly authorised by Torrot Electric Europa S.L.

LIMITED REPAIR

Unless  determined  otherwise,  any  repair  under  the 
above mentioned warranty, or any implied warranty, will 
be limited to the replacement of the faulty parts for others 
of  the  same  or  greater  value,  in  the  original  vehicle, 
at the sole discretion of Torrot Electric. This warranty 
starts from the date of purchase. It is only applicable 
to the original owner and cannot be transferred, except 
for the MUVI electric scooter (see the warranty transfer 
section in the annex).
Under  no  circumstances  will  Torrot  Electric  be 
responsible  for  direct,  unforeseen  or  consequential 
damages,  including  but not limited  to personal  injury, 
damage  to  property  or  financial  losses,  whether  they 
be based on a contract, warranty, negligence, product 
responsibility or other factors.

EXCLUSIONS

The above warranty, or any implied warranty given by 
Torrot Electric Europa S.L., does not cover:
-Normal  wear  and  breakage  of  parts  such  as  tyres, 
chains,  sprockets,  plates,  brakes  and  hoses  in 
circumstances not owing to faulty materials or incorrect 
installation.

-Vehicles whose maintenance or repair has been carried 
out by personnel not authorised by the manufacturer or 
external to the Torrot Electric organisation.
-Any modifications with respect to the original state in 
which the vehicle was delivered.
-The use of Torrot Electric electric vehicles for abnormal, 
competitive  and/or  commercial  activities  or  purposes 
for which they have not been designed.
-Damages owing to not having followed the instructions 
set out in the owner's manual.
-Damage  to  the  paintwork  owing  to  participation  in 
competitions  and/or  training  for  such  activities  or 
events, or owing to the Torrot Electric vehicle's use in, 
or exposure to, extreme climates or conditions.
-Damage  produced  by  external  agents  such  as 
chemical  products,  salt,  oxidation,  discolouration  or 
natural deterioration.
-Logistic  costs,  labour  costs  for  replacements  or 
exchange costs.
