Using a printer
Connecting a parallel printer
This is the most common type of printer:

Turn off the computer.

Attach the LAN Port Replicator to the computer. See
“Connecting the modem” on page 47

Identify the two ends of the printer cable.

Connect the printer cable to your printer. Refer to your printer
documentation for specific details.

Connect the printer cable to the parallel port on the LAN Port
Replicator.

Plug the printer’s power cable into a live AC outlet.
If your printer is ECP-compliant, set the computer’s parallel port
to use ECP capabilities in the Toshiba Hardware Setup utility. See
