If Something Goes Wrong
Problems when you turn on the computer
To close the program:

Press
Ctrl

Alt

Del
simultaneously.
The Close Program dialog box displays all the programs and
processes currently in operation. If the program has stopped
responding, the words “not responding” appear beside it.

End Task

Cancel
.
To disable sleep mode, you must use TSETUP:

Shut Down

Restart the computer in MS-DOS
mode?
then click
OK

At the DOS prompt, enter the command:
c:\dos\tsetup

Using the arrow keys, highlight
Battery Save Mode
, then
choose
User Settings
from the drop-down list.

Set CPU Sleep mode to
Disabled
.

Click
End
, then enter
Y
to save your changes and exit from
TSETUP.

Type
Exit
to return to Windows 98 Second Edition.
If the problem continues, contact the manufacturer of the program.
Problems when you turn on the computer
These problems may occur when you turn on the power.
The computer will not start.
Make sure you attached the AC adapter and power cable properly
or installed a charged main battery.
Press and hold down the power button for a few seconds.
