The right side of the computer
Hard Disk cover
Protects the hard disk drive.
Volume control
Use this dial to adjust the volume of the system
speakers and headphones.
Headphone jack
A standard 3.5 mm mini headphone jack
enables connection of a stereo headphone (16
ohm minimum) or other device for audio output.
When you connect headphones, the internal
speakers are automatically disabled.
Microphone jack
A standard 3.5 mm mini microphone jack
enables connection of a three conductive type
mini-jack for audio input.

Wireless
communication
switch
Slide this switch to the left (toward the front of
the computer) to turn off Wireless
communication. Slide it to the right (toward the
back of the computer) to turn on the functions.
Set the switch to off in airplanes and hospitals. Check the Wireless
communication indicator. It will stop glowing when the wireless
communication is turned off.
Universal Serial Bus
port
The Universal Serial Bus (USB) port complies
with USB2.0 standards, which enable data
transfer speeds 40 times faster
than the USB1.1
standards. (The port also supports USB1.1.)
Keep foreign objects out of the USB connectors. A pin or similar object
can damage the computer’s circuitry.
Operation of all functions of all USB devices has not been confirmed.
Some functions might not execute properly.
