ROUBLESHOOTING
If you experience problems while using the Digital Media Frame, please consult the
following troubleshooting guide fi rst, as it may offer immediate solutions to the condi-
tion occurred. Should the problem remain, contact a Toshiba service point near you.

SOLUTIONS
Nothing displayed on
screen
● Check whether the AC adaptor of the Digital Media
Frame is well connected and the power button of the
Digital Media Frame is turned to ‘ON’.
● If the AC adaptor of the Digital Media Frame is well
connected and the power button is turned to ‘ON’, try
to restart the Digital Media Frame.
Cannot find an inserted
memory card/USB
memory device on the
device list
● Check whether a memory card/USB memory device
is correctly inserted to the slot/socket.
● Check whether the format of the inserted memory
card/USB memory device is supported by the Digital
Media Frame.
● Remove the memory card/USB memory device,
then insert it to the corresponding slot/socket again.
● If a USB hub was previously connected, disconnect
the hub and insert the USB memory device directly to
the USB socket.
Cannot show photos
● Check whether there are photos stored in the
memory card/USB memory device inserted.
● Check whether the format of the image files is
supported by the Digital Media Frame.
● Check the file size of the photos. Large files may
not be displayed.
Some files are not
played.
● The Digital Media Frame can process up to 9999
files (including image/video/music files). If files are
saved with long path names (longer than 32 charac-
ters), the total file count may not reach 9999.
● The Digital Media Frame cannot play files saved in
the folder exceeding the eight hierarchy levels.
● If no folder is created for saving files, the Digital
Media Frame can save up to 512 files. It is recom-
mended to create a folder in the internal memory for
saving files copied from a computer.
