If you have problems
Error messages
The following error messages may be displayed on the gigabeat
®
screen. If any of these messages appear, take the applicable action.

The item is missing or
cannot be played.
The data you are playing may have been deleted or
damaged. Transfer the data to the gigabeat
®
again.
There is a problem with the
license for this item.
The license of the data you are playing is damaged or
expired. Synchronize the computer, or transfer the
data to the gigabeat
®
again.
The license for this item
has expired. To play the
item, connect the gigabeat
®
to the computer to sync
again.
The license of the data you are playing has expired.
Synchronize the computer, or transfer the data to the
gigabeat
®
again.
To recover from an error,
gigabeat
®
will restart and
remove all media items.
When the OK button is pressed, formatting will start
and the gigabeat
®
will restart. Since the gigabeat
®
memory is formatted, all files and recorded programs
you have transferred to the gigabeat
®
will be
removed.
