Additional options for MegaRAID BIOS setup
The options that can be used for the MegaRAID BIOS Setup Configuration Utility are
listed below. These options are not shown in the MegaRAID User’s Manual.

Objects - Adapter - Degraded Mode Bootup
If you set this option to “Enabled,” the system will be booted during the initialization
of the MegaRAID controller, even when the RAID is in a downgraded state.

SCSI Channel - Ultra SCSI
This option sets the SCSI bus in either “Ultra SCSI” mode or “Fast SCSI” mode.
Select “Enabled” to configure the SCSI bus for “Ultra SCSI” mode. Select “Disabled”
if an extended disk unit is connected to the SCSI bus.

Adapter - Factory Defaults
Use this option to reset all setup options, except the following, to defaults:
- Degraded Mode Bootup
- The parameters, such as Write Policy and Read Policy, that are written under
“Logical drive, View/Update Parameters”
