Example1:
If you want to set the following condition:
Application log, Error, “Example” as an event source name, 1234 and 3000 to 3030 as
event IDs, “Error” as Description Keyword, 1A2B as Data Filter Bytes, 2nd byte as Data
Filter Offset, 60 seconds as Event Merging Interval.
Example2:
If you want to set the following condition:
Application log, Error, all as an event source name, all as event IDs, nothing as
Description Keyword, nothing as Data Filter Bytes, nothing as Data Filter Offset, nothing
as Event Merging Interval.
Exception Settings tab
If you click a
Detail
button (the condition number data button for the data you want to
display) while the Exception Settings tab is active, the same screen is displayed as when
the Filter Settings tab is active, except that the “Event Merging Interval” field is not
displayed.
If you click the
Edit
button while the Exception Settings tab is active, the same screen is
displayed as when the
Edit
button is clicked while the Filter Settings tab is active, except
that the “Event Merging Interval” setting field is not displayed
