Slide the exhaust fan duct toward the rear of the server, and pull it to remove it from
the server.

Replacing the Retention Clamp
When you add a 3.06GHz CPU module, or replace a 2.40 GHz CPU module with a
3.06 GHz module, use the following procedure to replace the retention clamps.

Push down the retention clamp lever of the left side, and then turn and remove the
screws.

Use the screws to attach the retention clamp that comes with the 3.06 GHz CPU.
