9-3. Troubleshooting based on information displayed on
remote controller
Using main remote controller (RBC-AMT32E)
(1) Checking and testing
When a trouble occurs to an air conditioner, a check
code and indoor unit No. are displayed on the
display window of the remote controller.
Check codes are only displayed while the air
conditioner is in operation.
If the display has already disappeared, access
check code history by following the procedure
described below.
(2) Check code history
The check code history access procedure is described below (up to four check codes stored in memory).
Check code history can be accessed regardless of whether the air conditioner is in operation or shut down.
<Procedure>
To be performed when system at rest

Invoke the SERVICE CHECK mode by pressing the
+
buttons simultaneously and holding for at least 4
seconds.
The letters “
SERVICE CHECK” light up, and the check code
“01” is displayed, indicating the check code history. This is
accompanied by the indoor unit No. to which the error history is
related and a check code.

To check other check code history items, press
the button to select another check code.
Check code “01” (latest)
Check code “04” (oldest)
Note: Check code history contains four items.

When the
button is pushed, normal display is
restored.
REQUIREMENT
Do not push the
button as it would erase the whole check code history of the indoor unit.
