4.4 Card Replacement
Replace the card in the following procedure.

Turn off the PC. Then turn off the AC power switch on the back of the PC and unplug the
power cord.

Pull out the cable of the TC-net I/O loop connected to the card by pinching the lock of the
connector with your fingers.

Refer to the procedure in "4.2 Card Mounting", remove the PC cover, the side cover on the
slot 50 side, and the fixing bracket on the slot 53 side, and remove the set screw on the
card panel.

Pull out the card vertically from the connector of the extended slot.

When preparing a new card, align the station address setting switch address with the
removed card.

Refer to the procedure in "4.2 Card Mounting", insert the new card vertically into the
connector of the extended slot, fix the panel of the card, insert the fixing bracket on the
side of the slot 53, the side cover on the side of the slot 50 and the PC cover.

Connect the cables of the TC-net I/O loop extracted in step 2, respectively.
Note
The extended card has a sharp protrusion. Protect your hand with a glove or other protective device
when pulling out the extended card.
