To restart the phone
1. Remove the battery.
2. Reinsert the battery and turn on your phone.
WARNING! If the phone is restarted while a program is running, data that you have
not saved will be lost.
Hard Resetting your Device
If your phone starts to perform badly, you may try to Hard Reset the device to clear the
issue. Note that this will delete all applications you have installed, plus all your
personal data including music, ringtones, pictures etc. You are advised to back up all
of your data before proceeding with this operation.
Note
: Use this procedure as a last resort. If you are finding an application is not
running properly, this is most likely to be a conflict between installed programs.
We recommend un-installing the most recently added program first. Follow the
section on ‘removing programs’ in order to do this. Also verify that the program is
designed to be run on this telephone by comparing the requirements to the
information given in the phone under Start > Settings > About.
After a reset you will need to re-install all the programs you had previously.
To hard reset your phone
1. Click
Start

Settings
>
More
>
Perform Hard Reset

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset the phone.
The phone will restart after it has been reset.

Battery performance depends on many factors, including your wireless service
provider’s network configuration, signal strength, the temperature of the environment
in which you operate your phone, the features and/or settings you select and use,
items attached to your phone’s connecting ports, and your voice, data, and other
program usage patterns.
