Remote number.
To use ViewPoint in conjunction with a phone that is not a Strata
CS station, select this field and enter the phone number or IP address of the phone.
As long as this ViewPoint session lasts, that phone will be the associated phone.

“Specifying options for a remote number” ).

eyeBeam SIP softphone.
This is the preferred softphone option for the highest
audio quality. See Appendix G, “Using the eyeBeam SIP softphone.”

Strata CS H.323 softphone.
This option does not provide as high audio quality as
the SIP softphone. See Appendix F, “Using the Strata CS H.323 SoftPhone.”

Choose this option to use ViewPoint without an associated phone.
ViewPoint commands that require a phone—for example, placing a call—will be
unavailable.
