Removing the program memory assembly
This section provides the information needed to remove the program memory from the fiscal logic card.
To remove the program memory, complete the following steps:
1. Remove the fiscal logic tray from the printer (see “Removing the fiscal tray” on page 28 for
information).
2. Remove the screws that secure the cover; then, remove the cover from the tray by lifting it straight up
and off the tray. The fiscal memory is epoxied to the inside of the cover and also connects to the fiscal
logic card preventing the cover from being easily removed.
3. Remove the mounting screw

and off the fiscal logic card.
Note:
It may be necessary to push the edge of the I/O probe shield

slightly forward when
removing the program memory.
4. Set the assembly and the mounting screw aside.
