16. SERVICE AND WARRANTY
16.1
SERVICE
If the unit requires service, do not return it to the dealer. Follow these steps:
Review
the ‘Troubleshooting’ section of the manual to resolve common problems.
If the problem persists, contact Toshiba International Corporations support group for
further assistance. See Contact Customer Support section for contact numbers or
visit
www.toshibaups.com
.
Note the model number and serial number and the date of purchase. The model
and serial numbers are located on the top of the unit.
If the unit is under warranty, the repair is free.
If it is determined that unit is under warranty and needs to be repaired, please submit
a Return Authorization (RA) Form from
www.toshibaups.com
. A Return Authorization
representative will provide an RA# to allow unit return for repair. All returns must have
an RA#.
Pack the unit in the original packaging whenever possible to avoid damage in transit.
Damage sustained in transit is not covered under warranty. Please be sure to
disconnect all devices from the unit before returning it for repair.
Write the RA# clearly on the outside of the packaging/box.
Return the unit by to the address provided by the Return Authorization representative.
