System Options
The following PBX system options are required for correct operation of Adaptive Integration.
Option Number and Name:
106 — SUPERSET Sub-Attendant (MWI only)
189 — Flash Timer – 0.7 seconds
276 — Message Waiting Setup – Lamp (MWI only)
The Call Forwarding Don’t Answer Time-Out (System Option 255, 256, or 257), must be set
longer than the length of time corresponding to the VP 300 INFORMATION Table Index 7 —
RINGS BEFORE NO ANSWER. This ensures tha the VP 300 can still perform screened
transfers to a ringing extension that has been forwarded on ring-no-answer.
■
MIC Extensions
Each MIC port requires a Superset 4 extension from the Mitel PBX. The MIC message waiting
ports (the ports that MWI uses for control of message waiting indicators) are configured
differently from the remaining MIC ports.
1.
Allocate a Superset extension for each of the MIC ports.
2.
(MWI only) Allocate an unused PBX COS for the MIC message waiting ports. Assign this
COS only to the MIC message waiting ports, and not to any other extensions. Using the
console in program mode, assign the COS options listed below.
