3.
Access the INTERCONNECT RESTRICTION table to allocate an interconnect
number which permits all the VP 300 users and trunks to access the MIC ports.
4.
Access the Superset 4 Assignment form to assign the Prime Directory Numbers and
Interconnect Numbers for the MIC Superset ports. Using this form, program each MIC
Superset line’s entries as follows:
ACD Agent — Set this entry to NO. The MIC ports cannot be ACD agents.
Call Announce Number — Leave this entry blank.
Interconnect Number — Enter the Interconnect Number selected in step 3 above so
that all the VP 300 users can access the MIC ports.
5.
Access the Station Service Assignment form to assign station service parameters to
each of the MIC ports. Use the same parameters for all ports. Program the form’s
entries as follows for each MIC port:
Intercept Number — Assign the number of an entry from the Intercept Handling
form according to the customer application. Intercept Handling may be used to specify
an alternate directory number to which calls are routed if the MIC ports are out of
service.
Class of Service — Assign the COS number allocated for the MIC ports in step 2
above. Use the same COS for Day, Night 1, and Night 2 operation.
Class of Restriction and Default Account Code Index — Assign these parameters
according to the customer application.
6.
Access the Hunt Group Assignment form to create a hunt group that includes all of the
MIC port extensions used for CPI. If this is an upgrade of an installed VP 300 system,
use the existing VP 300 port hunt group, but include only the CPI extensions as hunt
group members. Otherwise, allocate a new hunt group. Program the form’s entries as
follows:
Pilot Number — Allocate a convenient access number that is used to call the VP 300
and enter it as the hunt group access code.
Hunt Mode — Enter “Circular.” Mitel Adaptive Integration requires the MIC ports be
in a circular hunt group.
Group Type — Enter “Voice.”
Name — A name cannot be programmed for the hunt group using this form, but can
be programmed using the telephone directory form.
RAD 1, RAD 2, NIGHT RAD — Leave these entries blank.
Priority — Enter a priority number for this hunt group in accordance with the
SX-2000’s Priority Queuing feature.
1st Threshold (%), 2nd Threshold (%), Alert Device — If desired, program values
for these entries so that hunt group load level can be monitored.
Phase Timer — Enter zero.
