Applications
The following diagrams illustrate two possible configurations. Figure 11-1 is a Central Office
DID application with standard DID trunks connected to DAC ports. The DAC collects the
digits sent over the tip and ring leads of the DID trunk normally used to signal a DID extension.
The digits are used as a mailbox number, and the call is answered with a personal greeting.
