PICTURE CONTROL ADJUSTMENTS
BRIGHTNESS
SHARPNESS
Press the ENTER button until "SHARPNESS" appears on the
screen, then press the

button to adjust the
sharpness.
In the fringe viewing areas, the picture may be more pleasing
CONTRAST
Press the ENTER button until "COLOUR" appears on the
screen, then press the
or
button to adjust the
intensity of the colors.
This should be set to where the colors appear normal in
intensity and brilliance.
Each time you press the ENTER button, the picture adjustment Screen changes as follows.
NOTES:
•
The picture settings can only be adjusted by using the
or
button when they are displayed on the
screen.
•
The On-screen display will disappear about one minute after finishing an adjustment .
•
TINT will only appear when NTSC system tape is played back or NTSC signal input to LINE IN (Rear A/V
jacks) or LINE IN 2 (Front A/V jacks) is selected.
COLOR
Press the ENTER button until "BRIGHTNESS"
appears on the screen, then press the

to adjust the brightness. When the
button is pressed,
the darker portions of the picture become lighter.

button improves the contrast
and enhance the color. Picture looks sharper in the daytime
by increasing the contrast level and sharper at night by
lowering the contrast level.

colors are reproduced by the TV.Adjusting the tint for
natural facial tone is the best method of obtaining
accurate color reproduction of the entire picture.
