TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
4.1. Transport
If you want to move the support stands, pick up the stand at its base.
Do not pick up the support stand at its saddle or post. This allows the saddle to slide
out of the base, causing the support stands to fall, possibly causing damage to the
stand.
In case you want to transport the support stands by car or truck, make sure they are
fastened by means of a lashing strap or other.
If you do not fasten the support stands, damage can be caused to the support stands.
4.2. Storage
Store the vehicle support stands level, in a clean environment, preferably indoors and in a
dry area to protect the stands from moisture.
If the equipment is stored outdoors, be sure to lubricate all parts before and after use to
ensure the equipment stays in good working condition.
Avoid direct sunlight.
If you store the equipment in another environment, please note that the internal
workings of the support stands can be affected by a high level of moisture, gravel or
sand, salt, grit or other dust-laden air. The support stands should have their inner
components frequently cleaned, inspected and lubricated.
