CARE & CLEANING

Failure to follow these care and cleaning instructions will void your warranty.

Wipe the bath using a soft, damp cloth with only a non-abrasive liquid detergent.

   •  Do not use a dry (powder) cleaner or any cleaner that has abrasives. Do not use a strong acide or a strong alkalai (bleach).
   •  Using any of the above will cause irreparable damage to the surface and components.
NO TE: Slight scratches can be removed with white automotive polishing paste or extremely fine grain, wet sandpaper (1200-1600 grit).
   •  Be sure to thoroughly rinse off all cleaners after application.

Clean the Keypad

   •   Wipe away any dirt on the keypad with a dry cloth. A damp cloth and a small amount of mild detergent can be used on a particularly

dirty keypad.

Bathing Aides

   •   Bathing products such as sea salts, essential oils, soaps, etc. are suggested for use to enhance the bathing experience. However,

concentrated essential oils should not be applied directly to the skin, tub parts or acrylic. They should be added after the tub is filled.
Be sure to thoroughly rinse the tub after draining.

Cleaning the Optional Pillows

   •   The pillows (if applicable) should be cleaned at least once a month. Use a mild detergant and damp cloth. A vinyl cleaner can be used

on more stubborn stains. A vinyl rejuvenator liquid can be used to restore the look of the pillows.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Please check the following before calling for service.

PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

SOLUTION

Completely fails to
operate

A power outage, tripped circuit breaker or tripped
GFCI.

Wait until the power is restored. Turn the circuit
breaker back on.

Breaker trips
continuously

The breaker amperage is not sufficient or multiple
electrical devices are connected on one circuit.

Make sure the bath is the only thing connected to
the breaker circuit and is on a 15 A circuit.

Blower stops after only
a few minutes

The blower is equipped with a thermal shut off
in order to prevent overheating, damage to the
blower, or risk of fire. The thermal shut off sensor
may be detecting overheating due to insufficient air
circulation.

Make sure the blower has sufficient air volume
and is not clogged with debris.

Jets do not work at low
speed

Low air volume is moving through the jets. Blower
may be blocked.

Make sure the blower is clean and has enough air
space to draw from.

Jets do not work at
high speed

Air nozzles are clogged or dirty.

Fill the tub with hot water and let it stand for 2
minutes. Turn the jets on and off on the highest
intensity. If this does not fix the problem, contact
your dealer or TOTO for repair.

Motor stops after 20
minutes

In order to prevent continuous operation, the
blower automatically shuts off after 20 minutes.

Restart the blower with the keypad.

Keypad works, but the
blower won’t run

The blower cord may be disconnected or damaged.

Inspect the cord. If it is undamaged, reconnect
it. If damaged, contact your dealer or TOTO for
repair.

Intensity or Modes
won’t change

The motor or keypad may be damaged.

Contact your dealer or TOTO for repair.

EJE appears on the
keypad and cycle starts.

Any time the blower is activated or the sensor
detects water in the system, the EJE timer will
activate.

This is not a malfunction. See page 5 for more
information.

Automatic Maintenance Cycle

Drain the tub of water

    •   Once the sensors no longer detect water, the automatic maintenance timer

begins counting down from 15 minutes. The keypad will alternately display
EJE and the remaining time. The eject cycle begins when the timer counts to
zero.

Air is blown through the jets

   •  The water removal cycle will run for 2 minutes.
   •   To manually initiate the Maintenance Cycle, press the ON/Off button for 2

seconds and then release it. The display will flash EJE. 10 seconds later, the
cycle will start.
