• The wire-strain relief bracket shown in the diagram below.
2. Using a screwdriver, loosen the screws for the wire-strain relief bracket to adjust the bracket.
3. Adjust the wire-strain relief bracket so you can bring cables into the jukebox through the
cable channel opening.
4. Tighten the screws for the wire-strain relief bracket to keep open the cable channel opening.
Once the cable channel is open and the wire-strain relief bracket is loose, you are ready to
connect the jukebox to either the broadband or telephone network.
Connect the Ovation to the broadband network
You connect an Ethernet network cable from the router to the Ovation MJS to connect the
jukebox to the broadband network.
1. Locate the RJ-45 Ethernet cable for the broadband connection.
The cable used for a broadband connection is straight-wired Ethernet cable with RJ-45
connectors at both ends. You can either purchase this cable from an electronics store or wire
it yourself using the following pinout guide.
2. Connect either end of the cable to the broadband modem or router.
