Error Scenarios
During installation, errors could occur if there has been damage to the jukebox hardware, or
corruptions in its software. Under normal circumstances, these should be rare.
The following are a couple of the error scenarios which could occur.
Encountering a Corruption in the iButton or Hard-Drive
A corruption in the iButton or hard-drive could result in the jukebox being unable to play songs
on the hard-drive. In this case, the jukebox must download some information from the
TouchTunes server to fix the problem. When the jukebox is started, the Communication screen
appears indicating it is downloading the required file, and then boots into the Customer
interface.
Encountering a Serious System Error
Under serious conditions—whether major system problems with hardware or software—an
error screen appears upon jukebox initialization indicating that you should contact TouchTunes,
as no other action can be taken. See “Contacting Technical Support” on page 2.
