ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
TOOL CHARACTERISTICS
The pneumatic cutter is a tool which uses compressed air under appropri-
ate pressure to operate. Thanks to the installed cutting blade, it is possible
to cut metal parts. The tools are suitable for indoor use and should not be
exposed to moisture or precipitation. Proper, reliable and safe operation of
the tool depends on appropriate use, that is why you should
read and keep the entire instruction manual before the fi rst use of the tool.
The supplier shall not be held liable for any damage or injury resulting from
improper use of the tool, failure to observe the safety regulations and rec-
ommendations of this manual. Use of the tool for purposes other than those
for which it was intended shall cause the loss of the user’s rights to the
warranty, as well as under inconsistencies with the agreement.
ACCESSORIES
The cutter is equipped with a connector to connect to the pneumatic system.
Also included are wrenches for mounting and changing the cutting wheel.

GENERAL SAFETY CONDITIONS
WARNING! When operating a pneumatic tool, it is recommended that you
always observe basic safety principles, including those listed below, in or-
der to reduce the risk of fi re, electric shock and injury.
Please read and keep the entirety of this instruction manual before
using the tool.
CAUTION!
Read all of the following instructions. Failure to do so may result
in electric shock, fi re, or personal injury. The term “pneumatic tool” used in
these instructions refers to all tools operating by means of a compressed air
stream at the correct pressure.
General safety conditions
Due to multiple hazards, read and understand the safety instructions before
starting installation, operation, repair, maintenance and alteration of acces-
sories or when working in the vicinity of a pneumatic tool. Failure to do so
may result in serious injury. Pneumatic tools may only be installed, adjusted
and assembled by qualifi ed and trained personnel. Do not modify the pneu-
matic tool. Modifi cations can reduce effi ciency and safety and increase the
risk for the tool operator. Do not throw away the safety instructions, they
should be handed over to the tool operator. Do not use the pneumatic tool
if it is damaged. The tool must be periodically inspected for the visibility of
information required by the ISO 11148 standard. The employer/user should
contact the manufacturer to replace the nameplate whenever necessary.
Hazards connected with ejected parts
Damage to the workpiece, accessories or even to the inserted tool can
result in parts being ejected at high speeds. Always use impact-resistant
eye protection. The degree of protection must be selected according to the
works carried out. Make sure that the workpiece is securely clamped. Make
sure that the wheel is securely attached to the grinder. Check whether the
maximum speed of the grinding wheel, expressed in RPM, is equal to or
higher than the rated speed of the spindle. Make sure that the grinding
wheel guard is in place, in good condition and properly mounted. Make sure
that the grinding wheel guard is checked regularly. Regularly check whether
the speed of the grinder is not higher than its rated speed. The test should
be carried out without the mounted grinding wheel and in accordance with
the manufacturer’s instructions. Check whether the grinding wheel fi xing
fl anges specifi ed by the manufacturer have been used and are in good
condition, e.g. free from cracks, burrs and fl at. Check whether the spindle
and the spindle thread are not damaged or worn. Make sure that sparks and
waste generated during operation are not hazardous. Disconnect the grind-
er from the power source before replacing or repairing the grinding wheel.
Hazards connected with entanglement
The Hazards connected with entanglement may cause choking, scalping
and/or cutting if loose clothing, jewellery, necklaces, hair or gloves are not
kept away from the tool or accessories.
Hazards connected with work
Avoid contact with the rotating spindle and the mounted grinding wheel to
prevent cutting of hands and other body parts. Using the tool can expose
the operator’s hands to hazards such as crushing, impact, cutting, abrasion
and heat. Wear suitable gloves to protect your hands. The operator and the
maintenance personnel should be physically able to cope with the quantity,
weight and power of the tool. Hold the tool correctly. Be prepared to with-
stand normal or unexpected movements and always keep both hands at the
ready. Keep your feet in balance and in a safe position. The pressure on the
start and stop device should be released in the event of a power failure. Use
only the lubricants recommended by the manufacturer. Protective goggles
must be worn, and we recommend wearing suitable gloves and protective
clothing. If working above the head, wear a protective helmet. When the
movement of the grinding wheel stops, hold the grinding wheel all the time
in such a position that it does not come into contact with any object. The
grinder can only be set down when the wheel has come to a complete
standstill. During cutting, the workpiece should be supported in such a way
that the cutting gap is maintained at a constant or increasing width until the
cutting is completed. If the grinding wheel is jammed in the cutting gap,
switch off the grinder and then release the grinding wheel. Before continu-
ing to work, check whether the grinding wheel is still correctly mounted and
has not been damaged. Grinding and cutting wheels should not be used for
lateral grinding. (Exception: grinding wheels designed for lateral grinding.)
Grinders must not be used beyond the maximum peripheral speed of the
grinding wheel. The operator must ensure that there are no unauthorised
persons in the workplace area. Wear personal protective equipment such
as: fi tted gloves, apron and a helmet. Sparks from work can ignite clothing
