1 Check voltage between terminals #10

40 of engine ECU and body ground.

PREPARATION:

(a) Remove glove compartment

(See page FI -- 6

(b)

Turn ignition switch ON.

CHECK:

Measure voltage between terminals #10

∼

#40 of engine ECU

and body ground.

OK:

Voltage: 9 -- 14 V

Go to step 4.

2 Check AM2 fuse.

PREPARATION:

Remove AM2 fuse from J/B No.2.

CHECK:

Check continuity of AM2 fuse.

OK:

Continuity

Check for short in the harness and all the com-

ponents connected to AM2 fuse.
