1 . DRAI N E NG I NE CO O L ANT
2. REMOVE WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a)

Disconnect the water temperature sensor connector.

(b)

Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, remove the water
temperature sensor and gasket.

3. INSPECT WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between the ter-
minals.

Resistance: Refer to the chart graph

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the water
temperature sensor.

4. REINSTALL WATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a)

Using a 19 mm deep socket wrench, install the water tem-
perature sensor and gasket.

Torque: 25 N

Connect the water temperature sensor connector.

(c)

Install the engine wire protector to the 3 brackets.
