A. Restore the modem to its factory default settings and use the default admin (all lowercase) for both user 

name and password to log in.

Q2. How can I access the management page?

Confirm your computer is well connected to the modem.

If the computer is set to a static or fixed IP address, change the setting to obtain an IP address automatically.

Step 1: Configuring the PC 

Open your web browser, input 

192.168.100.1

 in the address bar then press

. After a few seconds, 

a small window will come out asking for username and password, both are 

admin

 in factory settings. 

Then you could log in to the web management page correctly.

Step 2: Login 

A1. Use another web browser and try again.
A2. Reboot your TC-7610 and try again.
A3. Disable then re-enable the network adapter being used.

Contact your ISP (Comcast, Time Warner Cable, COX, Charter, Cablevision and so on) to 
activate the TC-7610. During activation, you will need your account information, the serial 
number and MAC address which can be found on the product label of the modem.

Note: If the Internet is not accessible, contact your ISP and make sure that the TC-7610 is activated.
For advanced configuration, log in to the web-based management at 192.168.100.1, and enter 

admin

 (all lowercase) for both username and password.

Note: If your ISP is Comcast, you can activate as follows:
1. Open a web browser. You should be automatically redirected to the Comcast Xfinity Activation 

page. If not, go to 

www.comcast.com/activate

.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to activate the TC-7610. Make sure you have your account 

information ready. 

    If you are unable to activate your modem, call Comcast Xfinity customer service at 

1-800-XFINITY

 (1-800-934-6489).

The product should be connected to cable distribution system that grounded (earthed) in accordance with 

ANSI/NFPA 70, the National Electrical Code (NEC), in particular Section 820.93 - Grounding of Outer 

Conductive Shield of a Coaxial Cable.
