System Requirements
Hardware: Notebook and desktop computer with USB port Supported.
Software: Windows XP/2000/Me/98SE, Mac OS 10.3. x or above.
Hardware Installation
1. Remove the two screws on the back of the enclosure with attached
screwdriver.
2. The PCBA should slide out effortlessly. Insert your hard drive to the SATA
connector.
3. Secure your hard drive to the PCBA with the four screws that are included in
the package.
4. Reverse the procedure by re-inserting the PCBA to the aluminum casing and
securing the screws that was previously removed.
Software Installation
•
Windows ME/2000/XP
Driver install is not required for Windows ME/2000/XP. Simply connect the Hard
Drive Enclosure using the included USB or 1394 cable and access the data via
“My Computer”.
• Windows 98
Please ensure that you install the device driver which in the driver CD before
connecting the USB/1394 port. When you complete the driver installation,
reboot your computer, connected the Hard Drive Enclosure to your computer
and access the data via “My Computer”.
• Mac OS X
Driver installation is not required for system using Mac OS 10.1.2 or above.
Simply connect the Hard Drive Enclosure using the included USB or 1394 cable
and access the data by clicking a new drives disk like “Untitled” HDD icon
located on your desktop.
