- Do not create slack on the lanyard by preventing it from rewinding.
- Do not attach the device by any means other than its anchorage point
- Do not use the lanyard as a hoisting device.
- Do not open the Blocfor and grease or oil themechanism.
- Do not contact with soap, alcool, détergeant for long perriod

In case of contamination: do not disinfect the device without contacting Tractel ®
or the retailer.
8. PERMISSIBLE ATTACHMENTS
In accordance with standard EN 363, the Blocfor
™ 20R (30R) is used in a fall arrest
system, which must consist obligatory of :
- An anchorage device (EN 795),
- A connecter (EN 362),
- The retractable lifeline (EN360) with an elevation rescue device (EN 1496),
- A connecter (EN 362),
- A fall arrest harness (EN 361), (back anchorage point recommended).
All other configurations are prohibited
9. Statutory inspection
Tractel® textile PPE equipments as harnesses, lanyards, ropes and energy absorbers,
Tractel® Mechanical PPE equipments as Stopcable™ and Stopfor™ fall arresters f,
Blocfor™ self retracting fall arresters, and the Tractel® life lines can be used without
restrictions from their manufacturing date providing that:

A normal use is made in accordance with the instructions manual.

A periodic inspection is carried out at least once a year by a qualified person.
Following the inspection, the PPE product must be recorded, in writing, as
suitable for further use.

Instructions manual procedures for storage and transport are strictly met.
