• Antes de intentar limpiar alguna obstrucción o remover un objeto del triturador, apágalo.
• No llenes el triturador con muchos residuos de una sola vez. En lugar de eso, primero abre el grifo y el
triturador, después, deposita gradualmente los residuos en el aparato.
• No se recomienda utilizar agua caliente mientras el triturador esté funcionamiento.
El agua fría
mantendrá los residuos y las grasas sólidas para que el triturador pueda eliminar todas las partículas,
mejorando su desempeño.
• NUNCA
pongas
soda cáustica o destapadores químicos
en el triturador, porque esos productos provocan
seria corrosión en las partes metálicas del aparato.
• Se recomienda que cuando sean grandes volúmenes de residuos alimenticios, como por ejemplo
aproximadamente 20 cáscaras de naranja que se hayan utilizado para hacer un jugo, se destinen a la
recolección selectiva o a
compostaje
. Grandes cantidades de restos de alimentos desechados en el
triturador en un espacio corto de tiempo pueden sobrecargar la grasera porque no se deja tiempo
suficiente para que los residuos se sedimenten.
• Turn off the device before cleaning it or removing residues from the food waste disposer.
• Do not throw large amounts of waste into the food waste disposer at the same time. Instead, turn on the water and the
food waste disposer and gradually add the waste.
• It is not recommended to use warm water while the food waste disposer is turned on.
Cold water keeps waste
and fats solid so that the food waste disposer can eliminate every particle, thereby improving the product’s
performance.
• NEVER use
caustic soda or drain cleaners
in the food waste disposer as these products may cause serious corrosion
of the metal parts of the appliance.
• We recommend that larger amounts of food waste, such as, for example, the peel of 20 oranges used for making juice,
be composted or disposed of in selective refuse collection. Larger amounts of food scraps thrown into the food waste
disposer in a short period of time may overload the grease trap because there is not sufficient time for waste to settle.
